Ken Richardson Knives

Heritage Collection

Where Tradition Meets Purpose

The Heritage Collection is the foundation of Ken Richardson Knives — a series of full-size blades crafted with intention, just like Ken did in the early days near the Dillard Mill. These knives feature bold, working profiles like bowie, drop point, and skinner styles, each shaped from 1085 blue tempered spring steel for lasting edge retention and field-readiness.

The Ken Richardson Story

It All Started at the Forge

In the 1990s, Ken Richardson began making knives from old saw blades in the downtime between shoeing horses. Working out of a forge in the Missouri Ozarks, what began as a side project quickly became a family tradition.

With seven kids and a deep love for the land, Ken built more than knives — he built a way of life rooted in craftsmanship, faith, and hard work. Friends and hunters began requesting blades of their own, each one adding to the legacy that still guides our hands today.

Today, we still make knives the way Ken did — by hand, from quality steel, antler, and bone — one at a time.
